Step 4 of 4

Before you book

Please make sure you have a suitable space.

Your session takes place in your home, so I'll need somewhere clean, private and warm, with enough room for you to lie down comfortably and for me to work around you. A bed, a sofa or a clear area of floor is fine. Good lighting helps, and access to a sink or bathroom nearby. Please arrange for the room to be free of other people for the hour. If you're not sure whether your space will work, message me before booking and we'll sort it out.

Cancelling

I rely on clients to cancel in good time, at least 24 hours before. If a session is cancelled later than that, I can rebook you, but payment is needed in advance by bank transfer.

Your consent

Hijama is a complementary therapy. It does not replace medical advice, and I cannot promise any particular result.

Hijama involves small, superficial scratches to the skin. Cupping leaves circular marks, and some people feel discomfort, light-headed or tired afterwards. How long marks last varies from person to person.

If you are under the care of a doctor or taking prescribed medicine, please speak to your GP before your session, and do not stop any prescribed treatment. Hijama is not carried out during pregnancy.

Your answers are used only to decide whether hijama is suitable for you and to carry out your session safely. They are stored encrypted and only I can read them. The privacy policy explains how long they are kept and how to have them deleted.
